For the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering: The title of a Bachelor's thesis is only finalized on the final evaluation form and can therefore still be changed until then. However, the topic of a Bachelor's thesis can only be changed in the first month of work without the thesis being assessed.

In the CIW/BIW bachelor’s program, it is not possible to change the title after the fact. Only typographical errors can be corrected retroactively. Therefore, please ensure that the title listed on the thesis proposal and the certificate of admission is correct and appropriate before registering your bachelor’s thesis.
