Hello first semester student,

The orientation phase starts for you on 13 October. On the first day, you can expect the math pre-course, an Introductory Lecture and Workshop on Study Skill. Before the introductory lecture, the registration for the orientation phase will take place at 11:30 a.m. For those participating in the math pre-course, this will already be done there. We will then accompany you directly to the introductory lecture.

To register, please bring your certificate of enrollment (alternatively, a copy of your letter of admission) and a valid ID (e.g. passport or driver's license). For the workshop, you should also bring weather-appropriate clothing and some cash for food.

For first-semester Master's students, the orientation phase begins on 21 October 2025 with a champagne reception. You can find more details here:

Regular lectures will then begin on Wednesday, 29 October 2025. For MIT students, there will also be a lecture on digital technology on 28 October 2025 (further information will also be provided in the WhatsApp groups).
