It is best to contact the secretariat of the institute offering the exam as soon as possible. The contact details can usually be found on the right-hand side of the institute's website or you can click on the name of the person responsible (lecturer or professor). In any case, you should come to the exam and speak to the person responsible. Sometimes the institutes are tolerant. However, they are not obliged to let you take the exam. Some institutes categorically exclude late registration in advance by announcement/notice.
