Is there a time limit within which failed examinations have to be repeated?
No, there isn't.
The only exception are the orientation examinations, which must be written for the first time by the 2nd semester and passed by the end of the 3rd semester (the oral re-examination after the failed 2nd written attempt counts for the same semester as the 2nd written attempt).
