What can I do if I fail the oral re-examination?

First of all, stay calm and read this:

The legal situation is as follows: If you fail the oral re-examination, an examination is deemed to have been ultimately failed. This means that you also lose the right to take the exam in that subject. However, if you submit a well-founded application for a second retake, your examination entitlement can be restored.

Applications for a second retake must be submitted to the relevant examination board. There is at least one student representative on each examination board. You can cantact them via our contact form. The student representatives will then explain to you in detail and tailored to your case what you need to do. If you want, it is also possible to talk to us in person during our consultation hours.
