Liebe Studis,

ein neues Semester geht los und auch wir planen schon viele coole Veranstaltungen für das kommende Jahr. Damit wir auch wie immer alles machen können brauchen wir eure Unterstützung. Wenn ihr Lust habt uns bei Winterfesten, Sommerfesten oder weiteren Veranstaltungen zu helfen und selbst mal hinterm Cocktailstand stehen wollt, dann schreibt euch auf unseren Crew-Verteiler. Hier bekommt ihr ab und zu eine Email von uns, wenn wieder eine Veranstaltung ansteht, bei der wir uns über eure Anwesenheit freuen würden. Und wir haben auch direkt die erste Veranstaltung für euch:

Due to a security issue with Microsoft exchange, access to the exchange webservices is not available through the internet. OWA - https://owa.kit.edu - as well as Outlook and other clients, using Exchange Active Sync currently only work through the KIT internal network.

To access emails through the external internet, you need to use the VPN or mail clients such as thunderbird which use IMAP and SMTP. More information can be found here.

The SCC hopes, that the issues will be fixed next Tuesday (11.10.2022).

welcome to KIT for the winter semester of 2022/23!

The orientation phase will start next week. There you will get some useful information, as well as the possibility to meet your future colleagues. We can only recommend taking part in as many events as possible. Especially important is the introduction event, as well as the workshop for successful studies on the 10th of October 2022. Before the introduction event, there is the general Check-In for the O-Phase. Please bring your certificate of registration at the KIT and your ID or Passport. For the workshop, you will need weatherproof clothing and some money for food.

All information for the O-Phase and the most important details for the beginning of your studies can be found under the tab "O-Phase". You can look at the information for the individual events by clicking on the entries in the calendar.

Endlich ist es wieder soweit: am Donnerstag, den 30.06. findet ab 18:30 endlich wieder unser Sommerfest statt! Wir werden euch zusammen mit 9 Instituten mit Essen und Bier, Longdrinks und Shots versorgen und einige Spiele anbieten. Dazu gibt es FREIBIER (solange der Vorrat reicht), welches über unsere Bier für Blut Aktion gesammelt wurde. Als weiteres Highlight werden Professorin Lanza und Vizepräsident Wanner für Musik sorgen! Kommt also auf die Wiese vor dem ITTK (Geb. 40.31, zwischen Audimax und Sportinstitut) und feiert den Sommer mit uns!

Liebe Studis!
Diesen Mittwoch (am 22. Juni 2022) findet die Informationsveranstaltung zu den Profilfächern im EBI-Hörsaal (Geb. 40.50) um 14.00 Uhr statt. Anschließend wird es weiter eine Posterausstellung geben, bei der ihr die Gelegenheit bekommt, Fragen zu den einzelnen Profilfächern zu stellen.
Alle relevanten Informationen zur Wahl des Profilfaches und die Modulbeschreibungen werden anschließend über unsere Mail-Verteiler und auf der Fakultätswebsite [1] zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Anmeldung zu den Profilfächern startet im Anschluss an die Veranstaltung im Wiwi-Portal [2] und endet am 03. Juli 2022.

Liebe Studis,
Am 01. Juni 2022 findet die Mastermesse am KIT von 12.00 - 20.00 Uhr statt, bei der ihr die Möglichkeit habt, euch über den Master allgemein, mögliche Auslandsaufenthalte und Vertiefungsrichtungen zu informieren. Die Messe findet virtuell auf einer Plattform statt, für die ihr euch registrieren müsst. Alle Informationen und Links findet ihr hier.

Verfügbare Beratungsmöglichkeiten der Fachschaft/ Studiengangskoordinatoren und das Programm findet ihr jeweils auf der Website der Mastermesse.

Wichtig für BIWler/CIWler:
Für die Bio- und Chemieingenieure wird die Vertiefungsfachinformation dieses Jahr im Rahmen der Mastermesse stattfinden!
Ihr wählt im Master zwei der angebotenen 16 Vertiefungsfächer. Die Informationsveranstaltung zu den Vertiefungsfächer findet jedes Sommersemester statt und soll euch die Möglichkeit geben, einen besseren Überblick über die möglichen Angebote zu erhalten. Die Vorstellung der Vertiefungsfächer findet von 12.30 - 18.00 Uhr statt. Die Links findet ihr im Programm oder am Stand der Fakultät auf der Messeplattform.

unfortunately we had to cancel our Budenzauber this year at short notice. The planning was already in full swing, but as the Corona situation has worsened in recent weeks, we decided to postpone the Party once again.

We hope you have a nice christmas time and hopefully we will see you at the Budenzauber 2022 at the latest.

although we were very happy to hold our next meeting in the Grashof lecture hall and had invited accordingly, we now unfortunately have to hold our meeting digitally again for the time being.
So if you want to participate, our meeting will take place on 03.11 from 19 o'clock on our Discordserver. We are looking forward to all new or known faces.
